Black Bear Café - An Irish PubVoted 2010 Best Caterer, Readers Choice Contest Winner, Lake Region WeeklyThe ‘Bear’, located one mile east of the Naples Causeway, welcomes you to an authentic Irish pub in the heart of the Lakes Region. Created in the spirit of country pubs in southern Ireland, the Irish owner, formerly of Waterford, Ireland, assures us that the tradition and ambiance of a true ‘public house’ is presented to each and every guest that visits us. All staff have been trained to pour a perfect pint, and while we are devoted to traditional Irish Fare, try our Irish Breakfast or our Fish ‘n Chips, we also embrace good hearty fare that boasts local favorites, local products and local charm, including steaks, salads, seafood, burgers, seriously good pizza, signature Panini’s and amazing desserts. Our recipes are prepared on site, using the best ingredients, with great pride and our goal is to create an exceptional experience every time you visit in an environment that is fun, friendly and exuberant; in Ireland this is called ‘craic’. The Bear is open year round, and during the summer season we are open everyday at 7am until at least 9pm, but often later. Most Sundays you will find a traditional Irish Seisun, 4pm – 8pm, and most Friday nights there is Live Irish music.
